The best advice I can give is that, if you can, you should try to find a native speaker willing to confront the bureaucracy for you.  In the end, however, my package wound up being returned to the US, where my housesitter resent it via FedEx (for a small fortune).  Even that was a little bumpy, but it finally did arrive. Found your post while trying to find info on tracking USPS packages in the "La Poste" system. Guess it is futile with my USPS tracking #, eh?

If you want to part with that phone number for getting the French tracking number, I would be grateful. Although my French is closer to the 2 year old level.

I am in day 16 of waiting for my package from the US.</description>
