1)  Don&#8217;t sweat the time off. A little rest goes a long way.&#160; You&#8217;re probably better off.&#160; I did just the same thing with my fromage strategy for the triathalon and within 2 weeks of renewed training was in exponentially better shape than before taking the time off.&#160; (took 2 weeks off, 1 to go Paris and eat cheese and one because, well, I&#8217;d just spent a week eating cheese.)  Just don&#8217;t emulate the additional 3 weeks I took off just prior to the actual race&#8230;  That kinda hurt me I think&#8230;  In other words, as a lazy bastrad, I applaud your taking the time to smell roses in your new garden.

2)  I was so inspired by your entry that, for the first time in 7 months, I went for a run last night. Actually, it wasl more of a limp and a hobble, but I still covered 4 or 5 miles.&#160; Thanks!
