Could it be that the writer is hoping that the reader will sense the word “acute” in the word “accurate”? An acute picture would be sharply focussed and tend to support a line of action…

I have mentioned bad stuff in my blog. stuff like coke… today my mom asked me “who is that girl”
thankfully she was talking about something completely unrelated to what I was thinking :)
