Feed Me!

Incidentally, if you’ve been reading Planned Obsolescence via an RSS feed, you’ll no doubt have noticed that the feed URLs have changed since the migration to WordPress. The feed is now available, conveniently, at http://www.plannedobsolescence.net/blog/feed. At least one major feed reader caught the migration automatically and updated the feed URLs, but others may need to be changed manually.

Of course, if you’re only reading via an RSS feed, and if you’re one of those who needs to update the URL manually, it’s possible you’ll never get this message. A technological conundrum.

  1. Google reader migrated automatically, otherwise I might have missed it. I just migrated to WP, too, so I’m wondering if/when readers will follow. But I’ve also discovered how much RSS feeds have spoiled me as a reader….

  2. Thanks for the heads-up, Chuck — my reader hadn’t updated your feed, so I had no idea!

  4. Enjoyed the book, now looking forward to the blog! (Modern scholarly communication in reverse.)
